After a decade plus of honing her craft in interior architecture and design, the opportunity to launch her own firm arose after moving back to New York City from the west coast in 2019. A former client invited Jill to redesign their beachfront home in Santa Barbara County and that was the unplanned start of her eponymous firm. She's been leading a bi-coastal team, designing projects around the country ever since.

Jill’s experience ranges from Brooklyn Brownstone remodels to Beverly Hills ground up designs; from 5th ave interior renovations to Bel Air estate styling. She also worked with the global luxury brand RH as their west coast designer for VIP and celebrity clientele. While her extensive client list remains private, her recognized talent is celebrated.

JRID focuses on renovation and furnishing projects of all sizes. The majority of Jill's work is residential but crosses into boutique commercial and hospitality when invited. While working with JRID means signing off on trusting Jill’s vision, she's careful not to impose her personal aesthetic. Her process starts with getting to know the heart of her clients first, then capturing their essence in all aspects of the design by weaving it throughout the details.

“As Designers, our job is to tell a story without using many words at all. The overall design and the details should speak for themselves.”

Caring deeply about social justice, equity and human rights Jill believes everyone deserves to experience beauty in the built environment as it's truly essential for wellbeing. In a business synonymous with luxury, she looks forward to the day she can bridge the gap between private client and public space so she can use her gifts to bring beauty to the masses around the world.
